My first book cover!!!!!

So, drumroll please..................here it is my first book cover!!!!!
This is real, it isn't some wild fantasy I've cooked up in my head or dreamed up at night.  I really DO have a book cover posted on Amazon.
So what do I think?  Well, I am a tiny bit disappointed the writing isn't in red - but that's just me.
What can you expect from someone called Scarlet?

And blogger still hates me.  I can sign in to put up a new post, but it doesn't recognise my sign in for commenting on any pages.  Including my own.  I am now named Anonymous.  I have to go and use someone else's computer for it to work.  So what's wrong with mine?  Can anyone give me a clue?

  1. Congratulations - looks good and I'm sure it feels good too.

Try signing out of blogger and then signing in without the 'keep me signed in' tick. It worked for me although I am getting awfully tired of the problems with blogger and thinking of swapping to wordpress.

Good luck with the book and well done you. Mx

  4. Hi Scarlet:

I see you are going to have a hardback of your book in September and I hope there will be a NA edition which will get it’s own cover art. There is still hope on the red type.

The guy on that cover looks none too happy! What was the art department thinking? That’s not you story is it? : )

I’ll be looking for your book in the USA Kindle version.

BTW: Blogger is also giving me a lot of trouble and what I do is where it says “Comment” Select Profile – I just select URL and put in my business URL and it works every time. But, your Blogger does not offer that choice!

“A rose may be a rose” but “A blogger is not necessarily a blogger.”

  6. Hi I think the yellow looks lovely, red is very common on book covers and yellow's a nice positive colour. M&B have used a splash of yellow really well on the latest Liz Fielding I'm reading. Yours is a super cover. I too have been having problems with Blogger. I'd done a draft post and for days it would not let me publish it. In the end, I went into Design, Settings and selected Update Editor. I didn't know what I was doing but figured that if I changed one thing it might magically clear the blockage. And it did! Had a go at Wordpress when I was looking at various blogs and just didn't like it so I hope Blogger gets its act together soon!

  7. Morton - many thanks. After seven attempts your tip for blogger worked! Now I am terrified to sign out again in case I never get back in!

  9. Vince - I am still crossing my fingers for a red version somewhere - whether that be USA, France, Australia - anywhere!
Blogger is certainly starting to wear my patience down. When all this started three weeks ago I assumed it would be sorted in a day.......

  11. Cara - off to hunt down Liz Fielding's to get a look at it - you've made me curious now!
Blogger is driving me nuts, I've tried the update thing to no avail. Looking forward to seeing you in Wales!
